HPCLT - Dùn Coillich Project: Press release re 2009 AGM

PRESS RELEASE - 2009 AGM

Wildlife Crime at AGM

Alan Stewart, Police Wildlife Liaison Officer, will be known to some in Highland Perthshire. Some may know him for the wrong reasons! But come along and meet him for the right reasons at the Molteno Hall, Fortingall, on 7th March 09. He will be the guest speaker following the formal but fairly brief AGM of Highland Perthshire Communities Land Trust, your Trust, currently managing, your land, at Dùn Coillich between Keltneyburn and Tummel Bridge.

Alan is a retired Police Inspector, author of "Wildlife Detective", and is respected nationwide for his work in fighting wildlife crime. His talk is titled "Wildlife Crime in Highland Perthshire".

There will be some displays and exhibitions. Meet the trustees. Give them the benefit of your opinions, good and bad. You could join the Trust and get involved. Offer your suggestions for the development/management of Dùn Coillich, not just for 2009 but for the next 50 years when the regenerating and planted trees have grown to renew the habitat, increase biodiversity and help to offset climate change. We need your ideas, your energy, and your involvement in what is your land. Make Dùn Coillich a place for you, your children, and your children's children.

The meeting is open to all and is free. So, everyone and anyone, come along, listen, talk, and participate.
